About
My name is Adam Hannemann and I’ve been working with computers my whole life – or at least about as much as I can remember.
I have been working professionally in IT for over 12 years, and spent the last several working in the small business space. I really enjoy working with small businesses as one good consultant can make a huge difference in any small business. I started as an owner/operator, moved on to an in-house single person spot, then to a several engineer consultancy, and then finally to a larger managed service provider. I’ve worked on over 100 networks in my time and have found some enjoyment in writing about my experiences and thoughts on IT.
I have several certifications and continue to work on more as I find that working towards certification really does help you build your skill-set. I have the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) for Windows 2003, the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) for Windows 2008, and the Small Business Specialist designation from Microsoft.
I’m currently working on my CCNA certification to expand my skills beyond all things Microsoft.
